House Update

2 Words.

UNDER CONTRACT :)

We were gone last week to the beach with my side of the family & we had a great time! We left our house ready to 'show' and sure enough we got a call for a showing on Sunday afternoon. This was the first showing where I couldn't turn all the lights on and light a candle to make it smell good and double check to make sure everything was picked up... AND of course this was the one showing where the people wanted to put in an offer! We went back and forth negotiating a couple times and settled on the offer by Wednesday. Praise the Lord! He is so good. We close on Sept. 28th so we'll be on our way to Nashville before then. We are still looking for housing out there now & it's up for debate whether we'll rent or buy. It would have to be a REALLY quick turnaround to buy but we'll see. We are filled with bittersweet emotions right now because it will be hard to leave Raleigh, but we are also truly excited about the next chapter in Nashville! It will be so great for Chris to not be getting on a plane each week and we can get settled out in TN.
