We've had a really fun summer filled with lots of time at the pool and the park with friends and outdoor concerts! We've tried to fully embrace life in Nashville during the summer this year which has been so fun. We made it to the beach in one piece after a looooong car ride & swollen feet (yep, still worth it! ha.). We got to see Chris' parents in early August and go on a babymoon to Florence, AL (cute college town close to us + no swollen feet! score!).
I love summertime... and watermelon... and walks around the neighborhood till dark at 8pm... and being a pool rat. There's nothing like it. And this summer is one that I will treasure with Jacob & our little family of 3, but now it's time to embrace the start of fall and this new chapter with Parker and we are SO so excited!
And since it's September, it means we'll get to meet this little guy TOMORROW....

Chris tried to take a few maternity pics in our yard a couple days ago before Parker makes his appearance and this is how it really went... Somersaults in the grass most of the time... :)
