I can't believe our baby is over 9 months old already!
At 8 months, he wasn't crawling yet but since then things have changed. :)
8 months: still nursing, no bottle, rocking on all 4's, no crawling yet. 2 naps & sleeps all night. trying lots of new foods.
9 months: started taking a bottle!! (yessss!), nursing 1x/day right now, bottle during day, crawling all over place & cruising & pulling up.
He got a lot happier as soon as he could move. He had been fussing a few weeks leading up to 5/24/14... first day he crawled. Now he's all over the place! He's pulling up on furniture and starting to 'cruise'. He loves being entertained by Jacob & laughs at him all the time. He loves to feed himself if it's on his tray. He's a big fan of all food he's tried, except green beans. He is still sleeping great with 2 naps during the day and sleeps about 11 hours/night. He is wearing 12 mo clothes for the most part.
9 mo checkup:
WEIGHT: 19.5 lbs (45%)
HEIGHT: 29.5 in (87%)
HEAD: 17.9 in (62%)
His weight % has gone down since last doc visit but the doctor isn't worried about it. It's pretty typical once they start moving she said. He is healthy and active and we are fully enjoying our lil nugget!
I still claim 9 months to be my fav baby age. :)
We've had a big couple months with a trip to NC (first time at the beach) & one trip to GA. We've enjoyed lots of pool time & Parker was dedicated at church. We've had fun with family & friends, and we are fulling enjoying summertime!
