Visit to Robbinsville, NC

We went to Robbinsville, NC this week to visit Jennifer & Rance!

What dear friends they are! Jennifer & I went to college together and had most of our classes together. It's been so fun to watch the Lord lead her to Rance and then they got married last year and moved to the deep mountains of NC where he is from. Chris and I are grateful for the refreshing & encouraging time with them these last few days!

Chris had to call on customers in Knoxville, TN so we stayed with them a few nights since they are so close to Tennessee. We had so much fun living with the Shuler's! They live on the side of a mountain, and their driveway has a cliff on one side of it. Not kidding. The town they live in should be on a postcard. Here is a glimpse of what beauty surrounds them...

While we were there, Jennifer took off work so we could explore & hangout one day. She took us to Fontana Dam and it was so gorgeous! Of course we had to get a little photo shoot in with Jacob.

On Wednesday, Rance had a home cross country race. He's the coach for middle school and high school cross country team so it was fun to get out there and cheer for the little runners. The kid with brown hair is named Frank and he is FAST. He won for the boys on our team and came in 2nd in the race (and he loves Jesus).

Brandon Brown is a friend from college, and he lives 20 minutes away from Robbinsville so he drove down to meet us at the race. Here are the boys catching up.

We had so much fun in the mountains! Thank you SO MUCH, Jennifer & Rance, for being so hospitable and making us feel right at home. We had SUCH a great time with yall!
