We've been on the go for Christmas this year, visiting with both families. It's been a lot of fun family time & traditions & good food. Christmas Eve was spent with the Thum fam and Christmas Day was spent with the Sears clan. What a blessing it is to be able to celebrate the birth of Christ with everyone!

We headed out to Greensboro late Christmas Eve.

We always have family devotions & read Luke 2 & prayer time before we open presents.
This is my favorite Christmas tradition!
Then we dig into the stockings... then presents... and Jake plays with the sticky bows.
My parents gave Chris a shirt that said 'Choot Em!', from Swamp People.
His reaction of pure JOY was priceless!
We drove to Winston for Christmas lunch in quaint Old Salem at Sara & Thomas' house.

And last night the 4 siblings had a pretty crucial bonfire.
We bundled up with blankets and roasted smores.
We implemented a new tradition that we need to have a bonfire each year.
And tonight we watched this sunset.
Don't you just love this open sky at the farm!?
To me, every sunset is an invitation to worship our Creator.
